Dominate!

dominate

If you want to change your life.  It’s time to DOMINATE in your field.  I have found that when you have made the decision to become a leader it will involve you learning how to DOMINATE.

I know to some people the thought of domination is frightening.  After you have decided that you are sick and tired of being sick and tired, you will get ready to dominate.  When you have been disappointed, unfulfilled and mentally/financially broken.   You will get into a different type of action, it will be an intense action that will not be turned off when you get a “no”.

This type of action requires your GRIT–a super natural energy that just can’t lose.  Get to this state today.  It is important that you to this state immediately, this state of action will be life changing.  Take the following steps which Grant Cardone explains:

  1. Get out there-do some work!
  2. Get noticed-time to tell everyone what you do, get on radio shows, newspaper, online
  3. Develop some haters–everyone will not like you and that is OK
  4. Then your LIFE will blow up–You will dominate in your field.

It’s time to: DOMINATE!

Book Review-Motivated for Greatness

arletta.l.moore_1466715733_86I purchased this book on Saturday and finished it on Sunday.  It was very engaging and thought provoking.

These are the 6 reasons to read this book:

  1. Arletta learned from her abusive mom that sometimes things DON’T get better. Her story of her childhood was sad and left me in tears.  I could not believe a biological mom could treat her child so poorly.
  2. Children remember the pain from their youth.  I can’t remember much from my childhood but Arletta was able to recount vivid details of the abuse she suffered.  Not only did she remember but she saw how it changed the course of her life.
  3. Arletta realized that her behavior was directly related to the abusive that she suffered.  Many times people act out to replace the hurt that they are experiencing.
  4. Arletta found out that God has a purpose for her life.  A change occurred when Arletta made this great discovery that God had not forgot her and he is directing her life.  Her plan began to get clearer everyday.
  5. Change happens when we truly desire change.  We must get rid of some stuff to go further in life. So many things hold us back, our attitude, our doubts and our lack of belief are the major reasons that we don’t walk in our greatness.
  6. Work on changing you.  If I had to sum up the book I would say you can change your life if you go to work.  Work on you everyday. Find a book, a CD or podcast you can get training on the move, while you going about your daily schedule.

If you want to make a major change, go and purchase: MOTIVATED FOR GREATNESS.

Life is a Box of Chocolates-You NEVER Know What you will GET!

box of chocolates

This statement was made famous in the Forrest Gump movie.  I had no ideal this statement would be so true in my life.

Life is filled with twists and turns.  You can’t ever really prepare yourself for what is going to happen in the future. If you anticipate great things happening, it makes it so much easier when you are faced with things that are not so great.

I want to encourage you to be strong in what you believe.  Have unwavering faith that what you need and want will come to pass in your life.  It is this faith that allows you to accept anything that comes your way.

Be thankful for everything and then it will not matter that: LIFE IS A BOX OF CHOCOLATES-YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU WILL GET!

Present Distractions Prevents Future Attractions

distractions

Present Day Distractions Prevent Future Attraction.  This is so true, many times we are so distracted about what everyone else is doing that it causes us to not properly plan for our future.

I want to encourage you to take time to work on your own future and not get caught up in the activities of others.  It is easy to be interested in what others having going on in their social media accounts.  Take time to sit back and figure out how your life can be better and you can take action on your current ideals and dreams.

Movie Review-Central Intelligence

central.intelligence

This movie was so good to me on yesterday.  I love an exciting storyline and it did not disappoint.

Top 6 points to remember in life highlighted in this movie:

  1. You are the STAR of your own story. It is your story and you will be the STAR either way.  Sometimes we feel our life is not what we desire it to be but we must keep on moving on regardless how we feel.  We must be an active participant in our life because we are the STAR.
  2. You have MORE inside than you think you do. When faced with adversity, we must dig our heels in the sand and stand.  No shaking no doubting it’s time believe in yourself and walk in your destiny.
  3. You can change your body if you want to. In the movie Bob one of the main actors, changed his body from fat to fit.  Change can happen in an instant.  Change is a decision and anything can happen when your mind is made up.
  4. You might have high school friends searching for you. I love Facebook and the ability to connect with people from long ago.  I suggest that you accept all friend requests and if the person does not show themselves freely you can delete them.
  5. Use your gift to get ahead.  Many times your vocation can be used to help you in other areas.  Don’t under estimate your skills to help in other areas.
  6. Winning is in your future.  Decide you will win and move in that direction everyday.  Operate as though you have already won!

Monday Book Review-I Won’t Apologize I Did It On Purpose!

carol.book

I LOVE reviewing books from friends, not because I like them so much, it helps me get to know them deeper.  This book was a good guide for any woman wanting to really get to know themselves and God.

This are the 6 tips that I picked up from the book:

  1. Of the 14 women described in the book, most women can relate to 1 of them.  These stories from biblical women have a common day relevance to our lives.  Which one of women do you relate with???
  2. Have you found your purpose? Your purpose has been divinely inspired by God.  When you don’t follow the path that God has for you, your life experience might not be as pleasant as it could be for you.
  3. We have all experienced being broken, but we must go to the “Hall of Faith”.  Do you believe that God can your situation around???
  4. If your stones never get turned, you will not grow. Guess what you must acknowledge your challenges in your life so you can deal with your issues.
  5. God knows everything, but! What are you hiding???  You know what???  God knows everything that you are hiding.  You can’t have secrets from God. Just be honest with yourself and others.
  6. Let it GROW! In order to achieve anything or change anything in our life we must get into action.  First decide you want a change, second formulate a written plan and implement.  Let me take the time to explain why a written plan is key to success.  Science has proven that information that is written on paper is the best way to make the information stick and allow your mind to process it which helps you achieve it.

If you want a great book to learn more about the purpose God gave you go and purchase this book today: I WON’T APOLOGIZE I DID IT ON PURPOSE!

Personal Branding

me

I have learned that you must have personal branding in all that you do.  So I want to make sure that you do these 6 things to achieve a personal brand:

  1. Think of yourself as a brand.  Everything you do can be under your personal brand.  Most people know that I do several things and my primary mission is to forward my own brand and help others in the process.  My goal is to be known internationally as the Queen of Hearts.
  2. Get a website with your personal brand name.  I know many people think that the name can be too long but I don’t think so, if people know you as that name it will easy for them to remember your website.
  3. Have a social media sites under your personal brand name.  In this crowded market place it is so important to have as much presence as possible on social media.
  4. Get comfortable with being uncomfortable.  The truth is any person that is striving to build a personal brand will suffer sometime of criticism.  A dear friend encourages: Go where you are celebrated and not tolerated-BAM!!!!  That was the bomb that helped me realize even though I LOVE everyone, they might not feel the same for me and that is ok.
  5. Be authentic.  Always be you, don’t waste time trying to fit in, it never works.  This is a universal truth, some people will like you and others will not.  People migrate where they feel comfortable.
  6. Build your personal brand on-line and off-line.  Don’t hide behind your computer.  A great personal brand has a good mix of digital and personal presentation.   Nothing beats the human interaction-always remember that while you build your personal brand.

100% Effort

effort

When you look at your results of a particular project, can you say you gave it 100%??  Most of the time if you are honest, you have to say NO!  If the person is having an average day, we normally operate well under our potential.

If you want to change your life or  your situation, commit to give 100% effort.  It’s time to MARRY the process and DIVORCE the results. When you fix your mind to be focused on a goal, determined to win and willing to do the work, nothing can STOP you!

Effort will help you go to work when you don’t see the outcome.  Effort will help you take the no’s and keep on going.  Effort will have you up at the crack of dawn and sleeping a few hours a day.  I don’t know if you have ever been in this state before but you can witness change in an instant when you give 100% effort.

Spend your day figuring out how you can give: 100% EFFORT!

Movie Review-Independence Day

independence.day

This movie-Independence Day was a true delight today.  Here are my 6 reasons you should check out this movie.

  1. Rise from conflict.  Guess what if you know that conflict is going to happen, you can be ready for it.
  2. Sometimes you have to change.  Your idea or way of operation might not always be the right way to do things.
  3. Queen Bee Rules-In order to correct the situation, you must go to the Queen Bee.  Every organization, system or company has a leader, don’t waste time trying to get decisions from others, go to the Queen.
  4. Sometimes you are just having a BAD Day.  Bad things are going to happen from time to time.  Don’t let it take you down.
  5. You can’t save everyone, there will be some losers.  The most important thing to know is do what is needed to survive.
  6. Fight for those you love.  Many times we must do things that we might not like but it is good for others that we love.

If you want to spend a great two hours go to the movies and see: INDEPENDENCE DAY!

Monday Book Review-Market Like a R.O.C.K. Star

rock.star

This book is a MUST read for business owners who are new and seasoned.  Yes the word R.O.C.K is an acronym but I will not be revealing the meaning to you.  LOL–get the book.

I will give you my top 6 lessons from the book:  (This was very difficult because there over 100 lessons in this book)

  1. You are in business to market your products and services.  Many people  make business about so many other things but if you focus on this statement first, you can own and operate a successful business.
  2. It’s not what you sell, its how you package and position it. This point was an eye opener for me because I have always been more partial to products.  I learned from Darnyelle that services are just as valuable as products if positioned correctly.
  3. You must learn to MARKET your business or CLOSE your business.  I had no ideal that marketing was that important.  I can honestly tell you that if you get this book you will be fully equipped to MARKET like a ROCKSTAR!  Use this as your blueprint to follow the road to SUCCESS!!
  4. Learn the R.O.C.K. plan for your business. Darnyelle has detailed the word ROCK to be 4 POWERFUL statements for you to follow.  The plan will not fail you, if you follow it.
  5. Clarity is the prerequisite to results.  In all of your getting, get an understanding.  I have always known that you must be clear about your why, how, when and who before you can advance in your business.  Clarity is KEY to line up your success.
  6. Understand the difference in Awareness Generating Activities and Revenue Generating Activities.  Darnyelle does an excellent job explaining the difference in both and why you should have both in your business.

I can’t say enough about this book and how it can TRANSFORM your business if you follow the principles laid out for you. Run, don’t walk to get a copy of: MARKET LIKE A R.O.C.K. STAR!
