2016-A Year of MIRACLES

When the clock alarmed 2016 at midnight,  I was a changed woman.  I decided in December 2015 that 2016 will be my year of MIRACLES.  Let me define what MIRACLES means to me:

M-Mentor–find physical and virtual mentors to help you on your journey.

I-Insight–get insight on the direction you are going.

R-Results–get focused on the results you desire.

A-Action–get into action to make your dreams a reality.

C-Courage–find the courage to GO FOR IT!!!

L-Love–fall in LOVE with your life and who comes in your life.

E-Excitement–Get excited about what you have going on right NOW.

S-Success–If you truly want SUCCESS-concentrate and follow the steps listed above.

When I look in the mirror.

When I look in the mirror, I see a woman who has endured so much.  I see a woman who loves so hard, a woman who wants more for herself and others.  I see a woman who has intentionally changed her life.  This woman learned how to make lemonade out of her lemons.  In 2015 this woman learned to share her story with the world.  Although I had alot of pain in the past, now I can see how that pain has changed my life.  Now when I look inthe mirror I like what I see.  Now I want to know: WHAT DO YOU SEE WHEN YOU LOOK IN THE MIRROR?

Monday Book Review-School of Greatness

This book is PHENOMINAL, Lewis Howes has a personal story of how he changed his life, but he did not stop there, he shared so much wisdom that he gained from interviewing powerful people.  If you want to know how to bounce back or start something from nothing, this book will give you the encouragement you need.  Many times when we suffer from defeat, we go home and cry.  That is not a bad thing, but guess what you can’t cry forever.  It’s the person that accepts the set back as a set up for a comeback that wins!!  If you have found yourself in a place of despair, read this book.  If you have found yourself unmotivated, read this book.  If you a great hope for the future, read this book.  I want to get and read: THE SCHOOL OF GREATNESS!!!

Keep Moving Even When You’re TIRED!

Have you ever been so tired that you did not want to keep going??  I have experienced this state too many times, but what I want to encourage you to do is to KEEP MOVING.  I hope you hear my heart on this subject, I’m not telling you to keep running because physically you might need to slow it down.  I want you to know that you MUST keep moving because standing still is not an option for you. You are a person with a mission.  People that are READERS or LEADERS.  I know  you would not be reading this blog if you did not find information very important to your life.  I want you to know that some movement is better than no movement.  Some days just work 10-20 minutes on your goal.  If you practice working 6 days a week on things that will take you closer to your goal, you will be AMAZED!!  I want you to: KEEP MOVING EVEN WHEN YOU’RE TIRED!!

Keep IT in the FAMILY

Today my post is about 12 hours later than normal due to a family situation.  I wanted to post because I am committed to writing every day Monday-Friday.   My situation made me recall some situations that Ms. Robbie with Sweetie Pie’s always say: KEEP IT in the FAMILY.  I wanted to share that message because when you have a business, it should be your goal to create something that you and your family can benefit from.  If you have a family member you can groom to work with you, it is critical that you do that.  It helps you build a legacy, when you look at the SWEETIE PIE’S EMPIRE, it is full of Ms. Robbie’s Family.  I take pride in knowing that I am building something that I can do just like Ms. Robbie suggests: KEEP IT in the FAMILY!

Will Smith-Keys To Success

Will Smith is one of the best actor and businessmen I love to watch and learn from.  After listening to his powerful training today, he said this at one of the teen choice awards.  The KEY to success is Running & Reading.  Okay I have to admit, I don’t run but after this lesson, I am going to start.  LOL!!!!  Running teaches you how not to give up when you are tired and want to threw in the towel.  Running helps you believe in yourself.  I never ever thought out the lessons I could learn about running until he pointed it out.  Reading has always been one of my favorite things to do.  Every week I do a book review on Monday’s about the book that I have read and my thoughts on that book.  Will said every problem we will ever encounter is solved in a book.  I truly believe that knowledge is so important but what is even more important is APPLIED KNOWLEDGE.  The book I reviewed on Monday was a game changer if you are building a BRAND.  But here is what I know, if I don’t take the time to apply the tips that I learned, I should have never spent the time reading the book.  I want you to learn from virtual mentors, today Will Smith is telling you: THE KEYS TO SUCCESS ARE RUNNING & READING.

Results-Oriented!!!

I want you to think about results for 2016.  I want you to look for results every year, month, week and day.  I know that daily results might seem like a bit much but I promise you that if you start now and work on getting results every day that will build to an AMAZING week, month and year.  I have learned in 2015, if you don’t focus on the results you will find yourself disappointed.  I know activities are good, however activities need to always be monitored to see if they are working.  In order to get the RESULTS sometimes we must change the technique, we need to alter the delivery or we might need to increase the frequency of what we are doing.  It starts with ME–and YOU, we must decide TODAY that I will only focus on the results.  I want you to know if you do X you will get Y.  I want you to decide to be RESULTS-ORIENTED!!

brand.youTom Peters wrote this book in 1999 and it is still even more relevant today.  The ideal of branding yourself if you work for a large corporation, small company or for yourself, is CRITICAL.  Today’s marketplace is very crowded with a lot of people doing the same business, but what I have found is the person that stands out from the crowd is the one who really can build a business.  So this branding advice is so needed and these 50 points were EXCELLENT tips to help you STAND UP & STAND OUT.  If you are wanting to be a better employee and possibly get promoted or start your own business, learn everything you can about Branding and get this book: THE BRAND YOU 50 today.

YES I DID THAT!!

This time a year ago, my first book was launched.  Yes I was able to get published after years of sharing with others verbally I decided that I would join 11 other women and share my share of entrepreneurship by writing.  I love sharing with others but when I realized everything that I shared is so vital to exceeding your expectations, it was a game changer.  There might be 1 or 2 times in your life that you experience a game changer, when it happens might sure you learn the lesson. I know this for sure, one of the major reasons most people stay in the same place every year is the they lack a guided plan. Now that plan can be given to you by another person or you can figure out that plan-either way you must have a plan. when you experience something in your life that can shift the game for you, please take note.  Writing a book and having that book become a BEST SELLER on AMAZON was a definite SIGN that all things can work out when you BELIEVE and WORK! I want you to be able to say: YES I DID THAT!!!

Feel Your Way Into A Decision-Before You Think Your Way Out of an Opportunity

While reading DeDe Murcer Moffett’s book a little while ago, I latched on to this statement that DeDe reinforced.  Feel your way into a decision before you think your way out of an opportunity.  This statement was so profound and it helped me see how we talk ourselves out of opportunities because of our lack of believe and our lack of action.  You see when we are given an opportunity we need to search deep into our soul, into our gut and see what we feel about that decision.  When we go with our gut decision we are generally right.  I want you to reconsider decisions now with your feelings.  You can over think things so many times that we never consider if everything could go right. Change your thinking, start to believe that everything will work out for the good.  Let your gut tell you what to think.  I want you to: FEEL YOUR WAY INTO A DECISION BEFORE YOU THINK YOUR WAY OUT OF AN OPPORTUNITY.
