Are YOU Something SPECIAL??

something-special_brand_logo_bidAre YOU something special?  When I ask people this question, I am amazed at how many people don’t believe that they are special. Especially those business people, you see if you don’t think you are special, neither does anyone else. 

There is a fine line between confidence and being puffed up.  I had walked all my life in a state of being humble, I still am very humble, but I was over doing it.  I did not think I had any value because I thought Christians did not need to boast or brag so I thought don’t show any attention to the awesome things I was doing.  I learned that not talking about how SPECIAL I was to others was really a slap in the face of God.  You see he made me this SPECIAL and I must let the world know what God has done.

If you reconsider you life as a project that God is proud of, you can confidently state that you are SPECIAL.  When you feel like you are out of alignment, just remember that the most high God does not make JUNK!!  So go ahead and tell people I am so special and no one can do ______ like me and have confidence to know that it is true.

Do you want to up level your life??  Ask yourself the question: ARE YOU SOMETHING SPECIAL?

140 Days are GONE!!!

OKAY today marks 140 days of 2016, we are almost 1/2 way into 2016.  WOW can you believe the year is rushing by so fast???

My question to you is what have you accomplished in the last 140 days?? If you find that you have not completed the things that you wanted to complete during this time???  If not, forgive yourself.  I want you to realize that all things can change in a matter of an instant.

When you have a made up mind, ANYTHING is possible.  You can decide the next 30 days will change your life and it will!!! You must decide, gain knowledge and implement.  It is just a matter of time before you will see great movement in your life.

Don’t allow the next 140 days be uneventful for you.  I just want you to realize: 140 DAYS ARE GONE!!

Beauty is in the EYE of the Beholder

When I think about BEAUTY, I realized that this statement has so many meanings to different people.  I have to say BEAUTY does lie in the eye of the beholder.

What is even more hurtful now than ever is the judgment that is placed on individuals when they choose to do something different.  I think about the girls who have now embraced natural hair.  I know many people talk about it very badly but we must remember that BEAUTY does not have to be defined by others.

If you believe in what you are doing and feel comfortable with it.  I encourage you to stay on the path that is right for you. Don’t allow any naysayers change your opinion or make you feel badly. 

In the hardest of times in my life, I did not see my BEAUTY.  I still have to admit that I always see areas that I can improve in and I am challenged at all times with accepting what is going on right now and moving forward.  I think women in particular really seek approval a lot of times and that can be more damaging than we realize. 

I want you to always remember that: BEAUTY IS IN THE EYE OF THE BEHOLDER!

Oh my goodness, almost 3 years ago I re-signed up for Mary Kay but this time I wanted to be with a National, you know what I went to the TOP!!!  I signed up under the #1 National Gloria Mayfield Banks and my life will never be the same.

This beautiful young lady is Juliana Mayfield-Gloria’s daughter.  She is a FORCE to be reckoned with in the Makeup Artistry and Personal Image Field. She is a MASTER in teaching how to UPLEVEL your look.  This graphic is such a great example of her multiple faces and how she is a perfect example of how to get it right.

How do you represent yourself when you walk out of your front door???  Do you realize that you never get another chance to make a first impression.  All of my life I have had an interest in makeup, partly because I love beautiful things. I also noticed the attention that women who wore makeup received from others.  Most of the time it was positive and it made them stand out from the crowd.  If you know anything about me, you know that is RIGHT UP my alley. Makeup makes you feel better about yourself and it helps you walk in confidence.

Let me be honest and personal with you right now, if you are a woman selling cosmetics-PLEASE LOOK LIKE IT.  It is so important that you do your best to represent the company you promote.  It does make a HUGE difference in the success you will enjoy in your business. Does Your Child Read The Bible??

When I saw this picture I had to blog about it.  I can’t recall spending time reading the bible as a young person like this.  This young man is deep into the word of God.  I wonder if we truly make the bible a must read for our children in the US.  I would venture to say that the Bible has gotten lost and the cell phone, social media, tv, sports and everything else has taken it place.

I must say that if we had more biblical influence in the US I believe we would not be experiencing so much turmoil and tragedy in our lives.  Without God in our daily lives we are nothing.  So do you ask your children to read the bible??  I must admit church has been very important in my home, however I can’t recall much time that my children spent in the bible.  Even more embarrassing to say I don’t remember reading the bible so intently like this either.

If we want to start over we can.  Guess what????  You woke up and you are reading this blog.  Let it be a remember to read the bible daily. Forgive yourself and move on!!!

Is it RAINING in your LIFE???

In Dallas it has been raining for the last several days.  In the past I would dread the rain and dreary feeling I would always feel.  But I have come to realize that rain CLEANS dirt & make things GROW.

Have you been crying (raining) in your life?? I admit I sure have! For the past 3 months I have been not performing the way that I know I can.  Honestly it’s been raining in my life for the last 3 years.  I’ve have been sad & I had a “poor me” attitude. This is not who I am in my spirit, but I have allowed the rain to be translated into something bad. I have allowed the rain to mean nothing good is happening for me. I have just been crying about the rain.  I have given the rain too much POWER.

Today is a NEW DAY, instead of thinking everything is being washed away, I am flipping the script.  EVERYTHING IN MY LIFE IS BEING CLEANED AND ABOUT TO GROW. I am taking full responsibility for my lack of action.  I forgive myself for wasting 3 years of my life.  I will not allow the past to haunt me.

I AM happy, I AM courageous and I am committed to achieve MASSIVE success!  My declaration has been sent to the world.  Now what about you???  IS IT RAINING IN YOUR LIFE??

Social Change Agents

Social change issues are divided into these categories: 1.Environment and Green issues 2. Poverty 3. Social Justice 4. Education & 5. Health.  I wanted to have a discussion today because I have seen a decrease in Social Change Agents we are people who stand up for what we believe.  If I had to pick a categories where my passion lies it would be POVERTY.  I am concerned with the other areas but I truly believe I can help people get out of poverty and enjoy their life.  Do you have passion for any of these areas???  I challenge you to become a: SOCIAL CHANGE AGENT.

Transform or Transmute??

I learned from Daniel Gutierrez that there is a difference in transform and transmute.  Transform makes a change that you can go back to.  My example is a transformation toy, this toy can turn into 2 different toys.  You can turn the toy back to the state it was before you transformed it.  Many times in life we speak about making a transformation.  I want you to STOP TRANSFORMING and start TRANSMUTING.  Transmute means to change completely, no going back to the original state.  A butterfly can not go back to being a caterpillar.  If you truly transmute your life you will not go back to your old habits.  I am in the process of changing everything that is not serving me at this time in my life.  I am make a commitment to myself to transmute my life.  It is time to step into the role that you were ordained to dominate.  I want to know will you: TRANSFORM OR TRANSMUTE?

When I look in the mirror.

When I look in the mirror, I see a woman who has endured so much.  I see a woman who loves so hard, a woman who wants more for herself and others.  I see a woman who has intentionally changed her life.  This woman learned how to make lemonade out of her lemons.  In 2015 this woman learned to share her story with the world.  Although I had alot of pain in the past, now I can see how that pain has changed my life.  Now when I look inthe mirror I like what I see.  Now I want to know: WHAT DO YOU SEE WHEN YOU LOOK IN THE MIRROR?

This book is PHENOMINAL, Lewis Howes has a personal story of how he changed his life, but he did not stop there, he shared so much wisdom that he gained from interviewing powerful people.  If you want to know how to bounce back or start something from nothing, this book will give you the encouragement you need.  Many times when we suffer from defeat, we go home and cry.  That is not a bad thing, but guess what you can’t cry forever.  It’s the person that accepts the set back as a set up for a comeback that wins!!  If you have found yourself in a place of despair, read this book.  If you have found yourself unmotivated, read this book.  If you a great hope for the future, read this book.  I want to get and read: THE SCHOOL OF GREATNESS!!!
