Most of you guys know that my ultimate goal is to become an INTERNATIONAL MOTIVATOR. I spend a lot of time learning about motivation, investing in personal development courses, books and videos/audios. What I have learned is outside motivation can ONLY WORK if you have internal motivation.
Today is the first day of March and it is time to forget what happened last year and the first 2 months of 2016 and get on track for what you desire for your life for 2016. It’s time to DECIDE that I will work on ______________ for 31 days. During the last 29 days, I participated in a church fast and I decided that I would give up BEEF. Wow I had no ideal how much beef was in most of my meals. I discovered that I love a great hamburger, so with today being March 1st I will get that hamburger that I have been wanting for 29 days. However I did realize that I don’t need as much beef as I thought. I will commit to no more 4 meals out of 21 will be with beef. If you decided that you will follow the 80/20 rule you can accomplish all of your dreams. So what is the area that you will work on for March 2016??
So I challenge you to have a HAPPY MOTIVATING MARCH.

This book was a great read this weekend. I have had the pleasure of being married for 28 years and I found the book is good for any stage of marriage. The principles shared can help you look at yourself and determine what type of person you are. The key to any relationship is your personal relationship with God. Pastor Hamilton adds examples, scriptures and everything needed to educate you about a RICH RELATIONSHIP. When you realize that you are not in this relationship alone, you can make the decision to be a better spouse. If you find that you are single, you can make the decision to allow accept what God intended for you to have. Do you want to learn more about relationships?? Do you find out why you are unfulfilled in your marriage?? Are you still single and you are wondering when is my KNIGHT coming to save me?? I had an amazing time watching this movie on yesterday. RACE is a story of pure determination, hope and courage. This movie allowed me to see a different side to everyday life as an African American in the 30’s. Although the movie was not void of all racism, it also showed how some people of different races believed in HUMANS going after a goal and banding together. I truly believe the blog post from yesterday where I discussed Proverbs 18:16 Your gifts will make room for you and put you in front of great men. In this story Jesse Owens knew that his GIFTS would take him places. How many times do you hide your gift??? How many times do you stay quiet?? Jesse knew going to Berlin might not be a welcoming environment for him but he qualified and went anyway. Will you qualify for the RACE. I encourage you to go see RACE today.

One of the best pieces of advice I have ever received is: “School is NEVER OUT for the pro”. If you desire to be a PRO at anything, I recommend that you NEVER stop learning. While you are in your learning mode, realize the more you understand and accept your learning style the better you will absorb the information. I put a visual of the 4 basic style of learning. If you are like most people all of these categories fit you in some type of way. But think about how you consume the most amount of information and what you enjoy the most. I came to the conclusion, that I LOVE Audio training in my learning mode. I spend 6-10 hours per day listening to audio training. I have learned so much in this format. I love to hear the voice and how the person shares their excitement. I also have a secondary mode which is reading/writing. After completing 2 books, I discovered that I LOVE to read and write as well. Let me suggest that you do 1 simple thing to move you FORWARD in business and life: KNOW YOUR LEARNING STYLE.

Look at us, do you think we are happy??? I want you to know that my friend, Veronica Olivo and I are two of the happiest women you ever will meet. Guess what we both have multiple businesses and wear multiple hats. I know the experts say you should ONLY have focus but not everyone marches to the same beat. Veronica and I would be BORED TO DEATH, if you told us, pick ONLY ONE THING. We are great examples of women who are the exception to the rule. So when you ask can I wear multiple hats look at this: SUCCESSFUL AT MULTIPLE HATS.

So many people want the experience of a HUGE business, and a MASSIVE bank account. All of those things are nice, but my mentor-Eric Thomas sums it up this way: fall in love with the small & big will be attracted to you. When I think about this, I totally agree. When I first started my company I was so excited and I spent a lot of time on the small things, after months of doing those small things my business changed it was growing at a rapid rate. It seems like I was on a golden streak and I could not lose. I want you to think about the times when you paid close attention to goals and dreams. Think about the times you paid close attention to your relationships. If you consider what you have gained and how your life was better during these times, it makes sense to go back to the things that were working in your life. It’s time to: FALL IN LOVE WITH SMALL & BIG WILL BE ATTRACTED TO YOU!

Social change issues are divided into these categories: 1.Environment and Green issues 2. Poverty 3. Social Justice 4. Education & 5. Health. I wanted to have a discussion today because I have seen a decrease in Social Change Agents we are people who stand up for what we believe. If I had to pick a categories where my passion lies it would be POVERTY. I am concerned with the other areas but I truly believe I can help people get out of poverty and enjoy their life. Many times in life we get blinded by the light. The light can be so bright due to the GREAT stuff that is happening to you. I want you to know that we must move thru the light. Don’t disregard the good times, acknowledge them and be thankful for them. If you future is so bright you might need to put on Sunglasses so you can maneuverer thru the light. I want you to walk in the good times and learn everything you can during this season because 9 times out of 10 a downturn might be coming. When you are blinded by the light you walk around in a daze and a little confused. I love WINNING like everyone else however you don’t have too much time to enjoy this MAGICAL time. I want you to take a day or two and enjoy the state you are in but then get to work to make sure that you can build a strong foundation. If you are working during the good times, then the bad times will not be so difficult for you. You can develop a foundation so strong that the winds will not be able to blow it down. You can’t be shaken when you are walking and working in the light. So I am asking you: ARE YOU BLINDED BY THE LIGHT??
