Just like all of the Chicken Soup for the Soul book series, this small book was filled with some powerful stories.  I connected immediately with the tittle because I seek motivational messages everyday of my life. This book was not a disappointment, it has stories to challenge you.  It challenges you to think positive.  It helps you to think of your current situation in another way to ensure that your thoughts become things.  It when you change your thoughts that you change your life.   If you want a small dose of motivation get this book: A Taste of Chicken Soup for the Soul-Think Positive.

Are Your Dreams DEAD???

When we march into the last 14 days of 2015, I want you to be honest with yourself are your dreams dead??  Do you find that what you set out to do for 2015 has not come to pass??  I want you to be totally honest, did you do your BEST??  Did you give it your all??  When we wake up and realize that we did not do what we needed to do, we don’t have the right to be mad at anyone.  I want you to know DECIDE to start right now.  2015 is not over you can make a difference in 14 days.  Do your best to change your situation.  Be an action taker.  Don’t allow anything to distract you from your goal. Look in the mirror and ask yourself: ARE MY DREAMS DEAD???

As you prepare for 2016, it’s time to clean up.  I hope you see everything that needs to be eliminated in your life.  When I looked around I had a number of things in my life that needed to be deleted.  I am determined to make sure that I clean up my mind,  my environment, my connections, my bills and my attitude.  You see when you take responsibility for cleaning up some things we begin to grow.  I want to seek direction from God for what is next. Recognize that some things in your life are dirty and they really do not serve you and add to your quality of life.  If you want BETTER, MORE and to IMPACT OTHERS you must know: You can only GO UP until you CLEAN UP!

One of the best gifts that I can give to you for the holiday season is information on BALANCE.  I believe that BALANCE needs to be defined by you.  Many times you might not be in balance as defined by others.  Currently I am working on 3 MAJOR projects and my life is not in balance by the definition by many.  I redefined BALANCE for my benefit.  I had to dive into the word and see what spoke to me.  I encourage you to do the same, find your BALANCE!!!

This book is an MUST HAVE in today’s business.  If you want to build a sustainable business, you must know how to write.  When you can write a letter that will allow you to identify the needs of your future customers.  Here is what I know about business, most people don’t know what they need until you identify it.  When it is defined it is easy to see what is lacking in your life.  I encourage everyone that you have the ability to do great things because according to Marie Forleo “Everything is Figure-out-able”.  So initially this book was intimidating for me until I decided that I would live by Marie’s theory and dive in.  This book is so easy to understand and I see why Dan Kennedy is a leader in the direct mail space.  He is brilliant with words and creating a desire.  If you want to grow your business go get THE ULTIMATE SALES LETTER!

Rear View Mirror

Have you ever wondered why the rear view mirror is so small??  It represents the place you just left.  It’s like our life, so many of us are looking back on past situations, relationships, opportunities and jobs that are no longer available for us.  The design of the rear view mirror gives us the plan for our life, focus on what is ahead of you.  The biggest place in the car if the windshield.  You see the windshield is there to protect the driver from all the junk that can cloud our vision.  Same thing in life, many things can pull us back to looking to the past.  I want you to know the PAST is GONE!!!  It’s okay, what’s done is done and we can’t change it. Don’t spend your entire life looking in the REAR VIEW MIRROR!

Is The COLOR Gone in YOUR Life???

Many times we think lack of color means lack of progress.  No, no, no the lack of color is a season of no distractions.  This is when you are in the DARK ROOM–the room where the picture is developed.  Without this room, there is no plan, there is no progress and there is definitely no positive outcome.  Remember that the dark room is necessary to growth and success.  It is critical that you take time to hear the next step, trust your intuition.  When you get quiet in the dark room the plan develops and the details flow easily. I want you to get EXCITED when THE COLOR IS GONE IN YOUR LIFE!

Write theVision, Make it Plain

In Habakkuk 2:2 the scriptures say this:

2 And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.

Most people use this scripture to say you write your goals down, I agree with them however I think the MOST important part of this scripture is HE MAY RUN that readeth it.  That means that ACTION is necessary to be obedient to this scripture. I know many people that are living the life they LOVE.  At times, I am not manifesting what I want either, but when I evaluate the situation I realize that I am not RUNNING to my GOALS-sometimes I never think about my goals.  So if 2015 does not end the way I desire, guess what??  It’s my fault because the plan is laid out ahead of me.  I have no excuse to not be operating in the MOST amazing season in my life.  My lack of action at times, will be the culprit.  The inability to produce is a direct result of our actions.  Join me today in making a change, don’t wait until January 1st to make that change, start now.  I want you to REALLY Write the Vision and Make It Plain!!!!

That could have been ME!!

On last night I was involved in a car wreck, although I was not injured, it changed me.  I realized I was so busy that I have not been enjoying the life that God had given me.  I realized that this wreck could have been so much worse. I could have been hurt, the other person could have been hurt or either car could have been totaled.  But I thought about it this way, the is a plan for my life.  I can’t control it nor can anyone else, the plan is set in stone.  I might not always follow the plan due to my lack of knowledge, belief or just plain disobedience but I realized nothing happens out of alignment.  So when I got up this morning I thought THAT COULD HAVE BEEN ME!

You’re Destined To Do Great Things!

Do you BELIEVE that YOU’RE DESTINED TO DO GREAT THINGS??  It’s time to believe our destiny.  It’s time to operate in our power and do GREAT things.  Now here is the deal, we must believe first before we will ever get into action.  If there is no belief there will be no action. I want you to decide what does GREAT mean to you.  My GREAT might be giving $10,000 per month in good and services to people in need, your GREAT could be giving $10.00 to the homeless every month.  It does not matter what the GREAT is the key is to do it!!!  I am on a mission to identify people who provide services from the LOVE of their HEARTS. I know this is a GREAT thing to do, not because I am doing it but because I know what GREAT looks like!  I want you to look at this message daily and start to know that YOU ARE DESTINED TO DO GREAT THINGS!!!
