It’s time to take CONTROL of your life.  If you find yourself not achieving your dreams or living the life of your dreams, it’s because you have given up the control of your destiny. 

When you remain in control, you can determine what is good and what is bad for you.  It is during this time that you can be creative and lose the worry of what anyone thinks.  I LOVE the ideal that I am in CONTROL of the work that is done and the results are up to God.

When I look at this mountain top, I think about the feeling of excitement when you complete a goal.  What is usually not represented is all of the cuts and bruises that happen when you are traveling up the mountain.  Guess what the mountain is NEVER easy walking, you will always experience some set backs, some unsteady roads and you might even fall a few times.

I want you to know that this road you are working on will make you stronger, if you promise to never give up. You might not feel like you are achieving great lessons and going ahead but you are on a great path for enlightenment and turning your life around and getting on the track you desire to be on.  What I have learned is while you are climbing the mountain you will have some time to spend alone, during this time you can figure out what you really want.  You see figuring out what you want and don’t want is critical to success.

My prayer for you is to find out the you can do AMAZING things if you keep going and make changes as needed.  Always remember: THE ROAD UP THE MOUNTAIN IS NOT SMOOTH!

I don’t know if you have had a chance to see this movie, I would encourage you to see it today.  WOW is my first response. This was a true story about a little girl in Burleson, TX.

This movie/story truly shows how a little girl was healed 3 years ago.  This is a true documented story about what happened to her.  As I sat there and cried when she struggled, I also go extremely excited when she got better.  This movies tugs at your emotions, which makes it the best type of movie.

If you have never witnessed or heard about God performing a miracle, then this movie is a must see for you.  I LOVE to hear about and see how God performs miracles in your life.  You see I experienced one myself, my mother was diagnosed and was issued a death sentence about 25 years ago.  I saw with my own eyes how God sustained her life for 18 years.  That was a miracle and doctors could not explain it. My mom lived with 7% of a functioning heart for 18%.  WOW-I think about it and it still sends chills down my spine.

If you are lacking in your faith, go see this movie. If you don’t know if God is with you, go see this movie.  If you feel lost and things are not working out, go see this movie. If you are frustrated with church, go see this movie.  Most of all if you want to see how God performs miracles everyday, go see this movie.

This weeks movie was Barber Shop-The Next Cut. I love a good comedy and this was truly a funny movie. Although the movie was a comedy, it really tackled several of today’s social issues.

This movie made me evaluate if I could stand up for what I believe in and how far I am willing to go to proof a point.  I was challenged to explore if I truly see the race problems that are present in the US.  I was challenged to explore if there is a need to leave the urban community to move to various areas. 

The movie highlighted several social stereotypes and how many people see African Americans.  It was a wonderful discussion of some sensitive issues.  Many times we might not want to discuss issues that we encounter on a daily basis such as women approaching married men and vice versa but it is a reality.  I was happy that these subjects were approached with decency and tack.

I applaud this movie for giving a real life example of some of the issues that are present in the US.  The story is filled with laughter, tears and thought provoking moments. I appreciate the actors/actresses for their performance and most of all I am thankful for the example of how EVERYONE can make a DIFFERENCE.

As we go from day to day working and making a difference in people’s lives, I want you to be extremely clear on what you want the result to be!  If I have learned anything in the last 10 years, its that the RESULTS RULE!!

It’s great to have people talk about you and what you can do to help them, but it they never join your team, purchase your product or sign up for your service, it is just NICE TALK.  It can be very interesting to see your social media post have so much positive comments but very little business results from those comments.

I have figured out that if you depend totally on social media for business success you will be out of business. The social media platform is full of coaches, speaker, trainers, on-line gurus and others providing products and services.  It is not impossible to find clients and customers, I just want you to utilize additional marketing streams to ensure your success.

How do you know that the service that you provide will catch on???  How do you know you will be successful???  You MUST figure what are the results you are looking for NOW.  I want you to be pro-active.  You MUST know what will happen in your business because you have developed a strategy for your business.  I speak to so many people that have 5,000 people on their facebook page and they wonder way they are not making money.  I can use me as an example I spend a lot on personal development but I have realized that I am not a great on-line learner.  So if you think I am your target because you have a great on-line class, you will be very disappointed because I will not purchase it.  I have purchase about 20 on-line programs that I rarely access.  I need physical products, workshops or conferences.  There are tons of people like me out there.  So don’t think that your results will not happen just be very clear on your target market.

I have committed to focusing on results because: RESULTS RULE!!!

One of the best things that you can do is be an inspiration to someone else.  I think I have always wanted to help others and be of service to them, but I never considered that I was an inspiration until I was told by others that my message helped them.

If you are wanting to help others move ahead in their life, tell your story.  Share what you know has helped you, share your failures, share your success and most of all share about you.  It does not matter if you think it is significant or not, share because you never know who can benefit from your story.

If you just make a conscious decision to Inspire one person by being interested in what is going on in their life. We all feel better when we give to another person.  To enhance our life, it is a great ideal to enhance the lives of others.  Be a go to person for those in need.  I’m not talking about always giving money, you can give advice, a kind word, instruction and prayers.  If you are always on the giving in of life, you are guaranteed to INSPIRE someone.
