This one is a oldie but goodie. I love this book because Stormie shares with women tips for changing their life and their marriage.
What I learned is in marriage you will not always feel like you are in your honeymoon. I think the vows say the good times and bad times. Noone wants to go thru bad times, but this book gives you a base of what to do when tragedy hits your home. Use this book as a guide to help you manage any storm.

When I think about BEAUTY, I realized that this statement has so many meanings to different people. I have to say BEAUTY does lie in the eye of the beholder.
What is even more hurtful now than ever is the judgment that is placed on individuals when they choose to do something different. I think about the girls who have now embraced natural hair. I know many people talk about it very badly but we must remember that BEAUTY does not have to be defined by others.
If you believe in what you are doing and feel comfortable with it. I encourage you to stay on the path that is right for you. Don’t allow any naysayers change your opinion or make you feel badly.
In the hardest of times in my life, I did not see my BEAUTY. I still have to admit that I always see areas that I can improve in and I am challenged at all times with accepting what is going on right now and moving forward. I think women in particular really seek approval a lot of times and that can be more damaging than we realize.
I want you to always remember that: BEAUTY IS IN THE EYE OF THE BEHOLDER!

Most people have the desire to do everything FAST-they want to run at everything. I want to encourage you to learn how to WALK!!! I want you to know that RUNNING will come to your business, your relationship or your life in general after you learn how to walk.
I see so many people wanting to run when they should really be walking. It’s okay to honor the journey that you are on currently. You see it takes graduation to get to the next level. You can go from the coach to a 5K and be successful. You must learn to walk 1 mile first. I have the wonderful opportunity of seeing this in a new venture that I started in 2015. I thought since I had over 10 years of experience in my company, my new venture would skyrocket. That has not been the case because, I must learn to walk in the new area. I am still running in another area but I am definitely walking as well.
If you are honest with yourself, you can walk and run in various areas of your life. In my marriage I would say I’m running as we get ready to celebrate 29 years in June. As being a grandmother, I would say that I am walking since it has only been 2 years. I am so happy at whatever stage I find myself in right now.
So I ask you: ARE YOU WALKING OR RUNNING?

Many times in business and life we might feel boxed in. You get this way when you are feeling some pressure from someone or something. I want to give you some advice that can be life changing when decide it is time to GET OUT of this box:
You must be AWARE:
Aware-ALWAYS know what is involved and the rules when you sign up with something.
Wisdom-In everything you do have the wisdom to know if it is good for you.
Accept-If you do want to product, service, relationship etc., accept what that means.
Results-It’s all about what results you get-no exceptions.
Excite-Do you still get excited about it?
You see when you make your decisions based upon some true factors and not just emotion it will make a world of difference. Many times we make decisions based on friendship, money or your fear, this is not the best way to decide if you should be involved in something. Everything is not GOOD for you and as you increase your WISDOM you will see and understand.
So I ask you: ARE YOU BOXED IN?

It’s time to take CONTROL of your life. If you find yourself not achieving your dreams or living the life of your dreams, it’s because you have given up the control of your destiny.
When you remain in control, you can determine what is good and what is bad for you. It is during this time that you can be creative and lose the worry of what anyone thinks. I LOVE the ideal that I am in CONTROL of the work that is done and the results are up to God.

When I look at this mountain top, I think about the feeling of excitement when you complete a goal. What is usually not represented is all of the cuts and bruises that happen when you are traveling up the mountain. Guess what the mountain is NEVER easy walking, you will always experience some set backs, some unsteady roads and you might even fall a few times.
I want you to know that this road you are working on will make you stronger, if you promise to never give up. You might not feel like you are achieving great lessons and going ahead but you are on a great path for enlightenment and turning your life around and getting on the track you desire to be on. What I have learned is while you are climbing the mountain you will have some time to spend alone, during this time you can figure out what you really want. You see figuring out what you want and don’t want is critical to success.
My prayer for you is to find out the you can do AMAZING things if you keep going and make changes as needed. Always remember: THE ROAD UP THE MOUNTAIN IS NOT SMOOTH!

I don’t know if you have had a chance to see this movie, I would encourage you to see it today. WOW is my first response. This was a true story about a little girl in Burleson, TX.
This movie/story truly shows how a little girl was healed 3 years ago. This is a true documented story about what happened to her. As I sat there and cried when she struggled, I also go extremely excited when she got better. This movies tugs at your emotions, which makes it the best type of movie.
If you have never witnessed or heard about God performing a miracle, then this movie is a must see for you. I LOVE to hear about and see how God performs miracles in your life. You see I experienced one myself, my mother was diagnosed and was issued a death sentence about 25 years ago. I saw with my own eyes how God sustained her life for 18 years. That was a miracle and doctors could not explain it. My mom lived with 7% of a functioning heart for 18%. WOW-I think about it and it still sends chills down my spine.
If you are lacking in your faith, go see this movie. If you don’t know if God is with you, go see this movie. If you feel lost and things are not working out, go see this movie. If you are frustrated with church, go see this movie. Most of all if you want to see how God performs miracles everyday, go see this movie.
