I bet you are wondering what lessons could I have possibly got from Ghostbusters?? This movie was fun and exciting to me because I love things that go out of the box with imagination.
Here the are 6 lessons I picked up from Ghostbusters:
1.Usual things may happen at times. It’s not too far from reality to say that strange and unexplained things do happen in our lives sometimes that leave us saying how did that happen?? I have learned not to question things anymore, I just accept things as they occur.
2.Your past may haunt you. It is so important to know that for every action there is a reaction. That reaction might not happen immediately but you will see a reaction. Many times we do some things that are not necessary good in our life and we suffer the consequences.
3. Only you have to believe your experiences. I am a firm believer that everything you experience will not be accepted by others. In 2012, I was in a very serious car wreak. My husband was overly tired as we were driving to Chicago, we went over a 30 foot bridge. The paramedics stated I should have died on impact based on what the vehicle looked like but God had another plan for me. As I was being lifted from the wreckage I was being comforted by a blond woman who kept telling you will be alright. After I got in the ambulance the woman vanished. I believe that was my guardian angel. So many people don’t believe but it’s okay I was there and I know I was in my right mind. So do over explain your experiences, they are for you.
4. Remember to fight. So many people loose their FIGHT and they give up too soon. If you believe in something fight for it.
5. Go get back and get your friends. One of the best lessons in the movie is near the end where one of the ladies-Kristen Wiig goes into the tunnel to get Melissa McCarthy. I know in my personal life, it is so easy to lose sight of your friendships. Make a constant effort to maintain and grow friendships.
6.Our fears aren’t real. Sometimes we over imagine what could go wrong. Take some time and determine what could go right. I want you to focus on the good things in your life and how we live in our fears a lot of times and most of our fears are fake. Decide today to understand that our fears aren’t real.
