Don’t Get Caught Up in the Lazy Days of Summer!  The minute it gets really hot outside many people shut down.  I have met 3 people this week that stated that they will wait to September to work on a new project.  NO-NO-NO a TON of people are thinking just like that and they are slowing down.  The summer is an opportunity to LEAD the pack in business and stick out from others.

If you want to obtain and maintain a edge on your competition, I suggest that you continue to plan and implement on your ideas.  When you walk in full confidence anything is possible with a little planning and implementation.  These are the days that you must work smart and not hard.

Let’s break down a success plan, what if you decided that you wanted to have a presence in writing.  You could take the summer to plan and develop a blog, find out some blogs that you could be a guest writer and write several articles for various magazines.  It just takes time to decide what you want to do to add another area in your business.

In this busy world we have lost the art of talking.  So many people are rushing to NETWORK that we don’t TALK anymore.  Scientist say the American population in particular are losing the art of talking and getting together with others.  

Technology has given us so many great things but it has really taught us to not engage with others.  The next time you go to dinner look around most people are on their telephones and will not look at the people around the table very much.   I am shocked because I don’t see the point in going anywhere if you will not talk when you get there.  Stay home if you are just going to use the phone.  Going out has a purpose–it’s time to engage with others and have fun.

Are you lacking time talking to others???  I know I am, I spend so much time working and making a difference in others lives that I need to schedule time to talk to others just about life and having fun.  The new Sheryl has decided I will take time to talk to others. 

The biggest decision that you must make is: WILL YOU TAKE TIME TO TALK???

This guy John Lee Dumas is a powerhouse.  I have learned so much from him on his daily podcast Entrepreneur on Fire.  If I had to attribute any of my success to anyone, John Lee Dumas would definitely be one of the people that has shaped my life in 2016.

This statement is so true because if you lack boldness you will not be able to accomplish much.  Boldness moves you into action, it allows you to do things that you would not normally do.  I want you to think about everything you have ever done that has been GREAT-I bet you had to exhibit some boldness to complete it.

If you want a fortune you must commit to being BOLD.  You must do a lot of things that might not be comfortable for you.  You make even have to change somethings that make you act BOLDLY.  I want you to desire fortune because the more money you make, the more people you can help.

Steve Harvey really shared an excellent principle today that I wanted to share about today. Your DESTINY is an interesting and exciting thought.  Most people spend very little time thinking about what could happen in the future.  What I have learned, is we can’t go any further than what we believe that we can.

We must be disciplined to get into action to ensure that our destiny is what we desire it to be.  Desire alone will not cut it. If that was the case, everyone would be rich and thin.  I know many people who desire things but those things don’t happen until we make the necessary steps to achieve them.

I want you to formulate a plan of action that will fulfill your destiny.  Think about your destiny, dream about your future, make BIG plans to achieve GREAT things.  When you get that plan let’s break it down into small steps that you can work on daily. Working on these steps help your Destiny become your reality.

Steve Harvey has achieved a ton of success starting in his 50’s so don’t worry about the timeframe-just keep working.  Remember: DISCIPLE DETERMINES YOUR DESTINY NOT YOUR DESIRE.

Do you know where you are going everyday??? If I had a gift that I could package and hand to you, it would be the gift of KNOWING Where YOU are Going.  You see when you make a conscious decision nothing can keep you from reaching that decision.  

How many times have you said, I am going to do this or that and you NEVER complete it??  I have to raise my hand and answer a lot of times, but since January 1st, I have made a massive turn around in my life and I am completing what I start.  I now have a fire and passion that is more intense than ever before.

When you realize that time waits for no one, and you are intensely determined on achieving something, nothing will satisfy the urge to abort the goal.  Nothing can take the place of goal completion.  It’s like waiting in line for something and when you finally get there, you are excited!

Give yourself time to figure out your plan of action.  Put I ask you: DO YOU KNOW WHERE YOU ARE GOING?
