Today is bittersweet for me.  I am moving from the building where my company started.  I have been here for 9 years and I thought I would be here forever.  Many times we can’t see the next step and that can be extremely scary for us but I have learned that the mystery of the unknown is a very good thing for us.  The unknown helps us adjust to those things that will happen to us.  I have seen good and bad happen in the future but if I am honest, normally things work out for the good for me either way.  So as I move from one building to another, I encourage you to learn that MOVING ON is GOOD!

Hi there welcome to the weekend!!!  I wanted you to decide today to be a weekend warrior.  What I mean by that is be willing and ready to go to BATTLE for your dreams.  This weekend takes some steps to make your dream happen.  I have a perfect example, I am moving part of my physical office to a home office.  I will take this weekend to organize my book collection.  I am blessed to have over 1,000 books.  I am in the process of becoming a leader in the motivation industry so I must remain on top of my reading of motivational books.  If you know what you want, I challenge you to be a WEEKEN WARRIOR!!!!!!

I meet so many people that are stressed out now that it really bothers me.  I have resolved that everyday I will live like it is my last day on earth.  When you take that approach, we don’t waste time on the little things.  I recently lost one of the parents that I work with, although she had been sick I guess I was a little shocked that she died, she was really getting better.  It was such a revelation for me that life is not promised to anyone.  We never know when the end will happen, with that thought in mind why not live like everyday is your last.  Enjoy time with others, do the things you love and honor the people that need you.

You guys, one of the best pieces of advice I could give you would be to FUEL the FIRE!!!  Never ever let the fire go out because when it does you get cold.  Something that you had blazing in the past can totally burn out if you don’t put fuel on the fire.  That is great advice for relationships, business ventures or health regimens.  Putting fuel on the fire, means take care of it, pay some attention to it and do something with it.  I have been in various peaks of my life and I realized what you think about you bring about.  So trust me, all is not dead.  Anything and rekindle a fire if you add the fuel.

PERFECTION doesn’t exist.  I wish someone would have shared this with me years ago.  I have spent so much time making sure that everything was perfect that I failed to launch several ideals in my head.  Understand this NOW Perfection DOESN’T exist!!!!  We can not wait to get everything together before we implement an ideal.  If you wait, you lose!!!!  Realize that if you want to have anything you must start now!!!!!  Remember PERFECTION doesn’t exist!!

As I continue to own and operate my company working with individuals with special needs, I have noticed that leadership is so crucial to the development of a good working team.  I have found that people don’t hear what you say, they see what you do.  When I find myself with a tough decision I question my response to how it will affect the people that follow me.  Many times we don’t realize that people are watching us to see how we will respond and react to various situations.  When we decide to have a heart of integrity and generally love the people we serve, we will rise up and watch our interactions and how our leadership skills are being utilized.  When we agree to lead people, let’s agree to Lead by EXAMPLE.
