I’m The ONE!

One of the greatest motivators of all times is Les Brown.  He tells of a story where he told his mentor “I’m the One”.  Have you ever had that feeling?? I’m in the zone now where I feel that anything is possible for me.  I want to finish all my goals for 2015 and I truly believe that I’m The ONE!!!  I want you to decide today to join me in this belief for yourself. When you start your day with the belief that you are in it to win it, life shifts.  You work harder and you see opportunities that were not present before.  My desire for you is to know to say: “I’m the ONE”.

Many times in our lives we have wonderful ideals and most of the time we allow our negativity stop us.  Fear is such an non productive emotion, most of the time.  Fear and worry holds us back from so many times.  But today I want you to remember it’s time to PULL THE TRIGGER!!!!  You must decide that you will go forward with any ideals, relationships or gut feelings you have.  When you pull the trigger, all options open up. All races start when they pull the trigger.  That action of taking the next step, not only does it make us happy and excited, it gives us the ability to complete some of the goals we desire for our life. In conclusion, if you want anything in life you must PULL THE TRIGGER!!!

You see most social worker are very modest and they don’t like the spotlight.  I knew that I hid behind that social work practice when I really wanted to scream and stand out instead of fading into the crowd.  I will be totally honest with you, I lost a lot of people I thought were friends and family that I thought really loved me but I realized I needed to be the person I was intended to be.  This book gives the 12 laws to access the POWER in you to achieve happiness & success.  It was a game changer for me.  I hope you get a copy of Do You!

I have to say that Eric Thomas is the leading person that I listen to now for motivation.  His story of success and how he took 1 ideal to motivate others and turned it into a massive empire.  I really relate to him on so many levels because I see how a dream can make you quit a good job and go after a burning desire on a hope and a prayer.  You see I did just what Eric Thomas did, I quit a good job and I started a business.  Has it been easy NO!!  But do I love what I am doing just like Eric Thomas YES!!!  You see, he always states make the rest of your life the best of your life and when I really examined that statement I saw the POWER in it.  You see, you have control over your life and you determine if you will win or lose.  So I say to you MAKE the REST of YOUR LIFE the BEST of YOUR LIFE.

This awesome young man was at the mall on Friday in the LUSH store.  When I saw him, I thought boy is he uniquely original.  After chatting with him, I realized that he lives unapologetically and shows his flare everyday of his life.  Do you live a unique life???  Do you realize you were born an original???  Don’t die a copy!!!! When you don’t feel like you are anything special, when you don’t see how you affect people, believe me YOU ARE A CHANGEMAKER!!  People are watching you and if you don’t know someone is being INSPIRED by your life!!!!   If I could do anything to encourage you I would say EMBRACE your Uniquely Original Life!!!!

Monday Book Review-Proverbs for Business

This book was a blessing in my life, honestly I have not completed it yet because I just purchased it about 48 hours ago and started reading it 24 hours ago.  What I have learned so far has been valuable.  I never considered some of the ways that this book discusses the Proverbs.  I have to give all props to Steve Marr for opening my eyes to some areas of business that I would not consider I would be dishonoring God but when studying the Proverbs I see clearly so many areas where I can improve and make a better company and become a better person.  Get this book to measure your job, your company or your business dealing with the Proverbs, this is a powerful read.

God worked 6 days and so should YOU!!!

When I think about success in business, I realized that God has left us so many examples that we don’t need to wonder what to do.  I have met so many people that complain and waste time talking about what is not happening in their life.  I looked at how God created the world, he took time to make things perfectly.  Do you find yourself taking the time to complete items and make them perfect.  I know that you are saying perfection does not exist, I agree but everything can be better. We know when something is good and when we took our time to create a great product.  I want you to make sure that you work the ENTIRE 6 days of the week.  Okay I need to clarify–I really don’t mean going somewhere and complete some physical work.  I spend so many hours in working on ME.  Self development is work, so if you decide Saturday I am going to read a book from cover to cover that is working.  I want you to be crystal clear on your vision and how you show up in the world.  Just remember God worked 6 days and so should YOU!!!!

Who Are YOU????

Do you know who you are???  When I thought about this question, I realized that I have not shared much about myself on this blog.  I spend a lot of time spotlighting others because I was born a giver.  There is nothing better to me than making someone else happy. In determining who you are, you must look at yourself outside of your self.  One of the most eye opening experiences that I had in 2015 is I polled 30 people and asked them how they see me, I was ASTONED on the 28 responses that I received.  I realized that my work is not in vain.  The message that I want to translate is LOUD AND CLEAR.  I want people to see Sheryl Jones Queen of Hearts a social worker turned international motivator who LOVES everyone.  I want to ask yo–WHO ARE YOU????

Dust Yourself Off & Try Again

If you have ever tried something and it did not happen, I want you to know to dust yourself off and try again.  It’s when we keep going that the MAGIC happens.  You must have the glue to stick to your business, diet, workout or whatever you are working on to win!  I want you to be encouraged that many people have struggled and found it hard to continue but something inside of them said “KEEP GOING”.  I want you to know that Thomas Edison was one of those people who heard the voice to keep going, what if he would not have kept going???  We would all be in the DARK!!  I want you to realize that all you need is to DUST YOURSELF OFF & TRY AGAIN.
