1. How many people will I serve in 2015??

2. How many sources of income will I have???

3. What connections are in my plans??

4. How much do I want to make?

As we get ready to celebrate Thanksgiving this week, I know so many people that have just stopped working until January. I know the new year brings a fresh start, however let’s imagine that you worked everyday like your business and family depended on it.  I think we take time for granted and we stop trying and use the holidays as an excuse.  I am working so hard until Wednesday to set myself up for a great December.  I challenge you, START NOW implementing those New Year plan and goals.  Give yourself a JUMPSTART to 2015-START NOW!

This phrase is popular with small children when explaining safety procedures when a fire is present.  I want you to consider these same words as it pertains to your life.

STOP-Take time for you to relax and meditate.  We are in constant movement most times and it is critical to our development  that we decide we will honor our bodies with rest. I am totally guilty of going non-stop until I feel like I can’t go anymore.  Please take time to STOP.

DROP-Get rid of everything that is causing you to stumble.  This takes being truthful with yourself and doing a REAL evaluation of what is good for you and what is not good for you.  It might mean that some relationships will end, you might have to watch tv less, your social media time may decrease and a number of other things that are not getting you ahead will be eliminated from your schedule.

ROLL-It’s time to ROLL out a NEW PLAN.  I know a ton of people that plan feverishly for the new year.  My CHALLENGE to you is Don’t wait-Start Today!!!  A well written plan is wonderful, but a well IMPLEMENTED Plan is KEY!!!

Today I wanted to discuss the importance of seeking wise counsel.  If you have a desired goal it is so important to go and ask the advice of others who have completed the goal you desire.  It is not uncommon for successful people to share their wisdom.  The trick is knowing what you want and who to ask.  It starts by writing up your goals and finding the best in your field.  It reminds me of the time of Mothers Day 2009, I had always wanted to meet Les Brown.  So he had an event in LA the Saturday before Mother’s Day.  I decided what better gift to myself than to fulfill my dream. Not only did I see him, I won a challenge and he took me and 9 other winners to dinner.  I got to speak with him for 1 hour.  It was one of the highlights of my career.  So decide today that you will seek wise counsel.

We have less than 6 weeks until 2015!  Have you Decided to Position YOURSELF for Success???  It is now time to MAKE a decision that 2015 will be your YEAR.  Have you honestly asked yourself these questions???

1. What do I want/goals?

2. What is my vehicle or vehicles to obtain my goals?

3. Do I have the RIGHT Mindset?

4. Do I have the RIGHT Support?

5. Do I have a healthy body to obtain the success?

6. Will I DO THE Work??

Out of all of these questions the most IMPORTANT one is Will I do the work.  You see, you can have everything in order, but if you never PUSH THE GAS you will not Go ANYWHERE!!

Today is a great day!!  Even though we are experiencing inclement weather in Dallas, I count it a joy to be ABLE to do the work I love.  As we are less than 45 days away from the new year.  It is time to plan your 2015 on paper.  Don’t allow what you see to stop your dreams!  Dream big-think about everything you want and decide today that 2015 is MY YEAR.  I challenge you to develop your DREAM PLAN Today.  Please share when you complete it.
