Today is the day!!!  Decide to RISE UP.  Everything you are looking for is on the other side of your fear, so rise up against your fear.  When you Rise Up you make a declaration to yourself and the universe that you are in it to win it.  Don’t worry about the results just do the work.  If you Rise Up you will be shocked to realize how much strength you do have in you.  I don’t know if you have experienced anything yet that made you Rise UP but I challenge you to do it today.

It time to go to uncharted waters.  I have never been so sure that now is the time to move where you have never been before.  The door is opening for you to do something different and be someone different.  If nothing changes, nothing changes.  I realized that I have spent a lot of time learning.  But now is the time to go even when it does not feel comfortable.  I done so many things that have not felt comfortable to me because of my comfort zone.  But have the belief that if God brings you to it, he will bring you thru it.

I have been experiencing some MAJOR shifts in my thinking lately.  The main thing that I have noticed is you must FREE YOUR MIND.  Stop trying to figure out how things will turn out.  It is so important to let God figure how the solution, you must do the work.  So instead of me saying I know that this will happen, I say I know I will do x y and z to ensure I give God something to BLESS.  Our mind can get so loaded with ideals, strategies and solutions to every problem but what I realized is we can’t control the outcome.  All we can do is be committed to our actions.  Free Your Mind Today!!!

Are you looking in the rear view??  In a car the rear view mirror is a tiny reflection compared to the windshield.  It is important to know that what is behind you is not nearly as important than what is in front of you.  The windshield is huge and it represents the coming attractions.  That is a metaphor for life, what is behind you is done, look ahead toward the future.  The past is the past and we can’t change it, learn from it and move on.  I take comfort in knowing God does not make mistakes and I am in the perfect will of God.

Have you broken your goals down into smaller goals.  It is imperative that you feel like a success everyday regardless of how you feel you are doing on the main goal.  I challenge you to find little successes everyday.  If you have a 50 pound weight loss goal, break it down to celebrate each 5 pounds you lose. When we see ourselves moving forward, we will continue to run toward our goals with conviction.

Peter Drucker shared this quote with the world and it has stuck with me.  “The best way to predict the future is to create it”.  It is imperative that you have a plan of action to achieve and maintain your goal. No longer can you depend on a company, your spouse or anyone to take care of your needs.  We must know what we want better than anyone we know.  Personally I know when I am feeling overwhelmed, it’s time for a movie.  Movies seem to take me to another place for 2 hours and it allows me to reevaluate my life and determine that everything will be okay. Find what you need to complete your goals.  After you identify what is needed, GO TO WORK.  No more waiting on anything.  Today is January 7th, you might wake up and see that it is December 31st again and you will wonder where did the time go??  Predict your future by creating it!!

I woke up this morning with the song-I Wanna See You Be Brave in my spirit.  I think many times we don’t have the things in life we want because we will not be brave and go get them.  The Famous Willie Jolley says if you want to G-E-T just A-S-K!!!  How many times have you not asked for what you want??  I know I can recall many times in my life, I stopped myself from asking because I wanted to be nice and not take something from someone else.  Our first love should be God, and he encourages us to LOVE our neighbor as ourselves so that means love you enough to ask for what you desire.  A no never hurts anyone.  A closed mouth does not get feed.  I learned this lesson in 2014, so going forward I will be BRAVE and I am asking you to do the same.

What a year 2014 was for me.  I experienced some of the most difficult times in my life, however I am stronger for the struggles that went thru. It took a tremendous amount of faith to make it during this time.  I would have to say that my faith remained strong thru out the year.  What about you, have you been challenged???  Did you have to exercise your faith more than ever in 2014??  I challenge you to have mustard seed faith for 2015.  Don’t let anything shake you this year.  Use the attitude: I Got This!!! I know you can exercise that mustard seed faith to conquer any obstacle that comes your way.
